Applications are invited from intending eligible Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of, the Constitution of India and permanent resident of Assam for recruitment to the following posts in the Office of DTE and in the Technical Institutions under the Directorate of Technical -Education, Assam.

1. Junior Assistant

No. of post: 83 posts ( OBC:16, SC:7,STP:9, STH:6, UR:42, PWD:3)

Scale of pay: PB-2 of Rs. 5200- 20200 plus , Grade pay: Rs. 2400/-, for others Grade pay: Rs. 2200/-

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any Examination declared equivalent by the Govt. Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on computer.




2. Assistant Store Keeper

No. of post: 06 posts (OBC:3, SC:1, UR:2)

Scale of pay: PB-2 of Rs. 5200- 20200 plus, Grade pay: Rs. 2400/-, for others Grade pay: Rs. 2200/-

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any Examination declared equivalent by the Govt. Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on computer.


How to Apply:
• Candidates are requested to -apply online by logging into www.dteassam.in and click on “Online Application for Junior Assistant/ Online Application for Assistant Store Keeper”. 
Candidates are requested to read the “General Terms and Conditions to Apply” carefully before filing the Online Application Form. The Online Application will start from 05/05/2017 and will remain open till 26/5/2017.

• Candidate must carefully give the choice(s) for Institute/ Institutions applied for in correct order of preference. Institute wise Merit list will be prepared and the candidates are to select the institution/ institutions in order of preference.

• Institute wise vacancy position is given in the website.

• Candidate must apply separately for posts at SI. No. 1 and Sl. No. 2.

• After submitting the online application form, the candidate will  get an Unique Number fom the submitted application. The candidate should keep the record of the Unique Number for all future reference.


GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO APPLY:

1. Candidates must be ready to serve in any of the Institutions under DTE.
2. Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2017. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in case of SC, ST & other candidates as per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/04 dated 3rd March’2016.
3. There shall be usual reservation- for SC/ST/STH/OBC/MOBC Candidates including Women and PWDs (Person with disabilities) as per Govt. rules.
4. Candidates must pay application fees of Rs.250/- (For General Candidates) & Rs.150/’- (For SC/STP/STH/ OBC/MOBC Candidates). Payment details will be available in the website.
5. Schedule and other details of written test/ Computer Proficiency Test shall be uploaded in www.dteassam.in
6. The candidate must upload the scan copy of the testimonials regarding qualifications, Age, Caste, Employment Exchange Registration number, etc. along with recent passport size photograph and specimen signature at the time of online application.
7. The candidate must produce the Original of all the documents mentioned in Sl. No. 6 and submit selfattested copies of all the testimonials along with 3 (three) copies of self-attested recent Passport size photograph in due course of time which will be notified later in the Website.
8. Applicants who are already employed must apply through their respective employer within the stipulated period mentioning the Unique Number generated against the submitted online application.
9. No application either by Post or in Person shall be entertained by the office of the undersigned.
10. Incomplete / defective applications shall be rejected without giving any intimation to the Candidates/ applicants.
11. Department shall not be responsible for non-submission Aapplication for problem in the network or any other reason.
12. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
13. The selected candidates will have to submit an Undertaking to the appointing authority that they will abide by the New Pension Rules of the Government.
14. The advertisement will be implemented subject to approval by Govt. The undersigned reserves the right to rectify/modify the advertisement.
15. Selection Process:
a. Candidates may be Short Listed based on the overall academic records. In such a case only Short listed candidates will have to appear in the Written Test.
b. Written Test & Computer Proficiency Test: Details of the written test & computer proficiency test will be uploaded in the website and will also be published in the News Paper.
c. No T.A. /D.A. shall be paid by the Department for attending Written test/ Computer Proficiency Test/ Document verification.

Some important Wildlife Sanctuaries of Assam (Part 1)










1) Pobitora Sanctuary:-
Situated in the Morigaon district of Assam, Pobitora Sanctuary was established as a sanctuary in the year 1987. It is mainly famous for its Great Indian one-horned Rhinoceros. Locals believe that a King of Mayong gave the name Pobitora in the name if his lovely daughter who died in her teens.

2) Burachapori Sanctuary:-
Burachapori sanctuary is situated on the south bank of the river Brahmaputra in Sonitpur district. Various species of migratory birds are seen in this sanctuary. It is a ideal habitat for Bengal Florican.

3) Sonai-Rupai Sanctuary:-
Established in the year 1998, this wildlife sanctuary is situated in the Sonitpur district and is famous for its scenic beauty.

4) Laokhowa Sanctuary:-
Established in the year 1972, the sanctuary is situated in the Nagaon district and is a ideal habitat for one horned Rhino and Asiatic water Buffaloes.

5) Garampani Sanctuary:-
Garampani sanctuary is located in the Karbi Anglong district and is famous for its hot water springs.

6) Pabhoi Sanctuary:-
Pabhoi, located in Lakhimpur district, is created exclusively for the protection of the wild water buffalo.

7) Pani-dihing Sanctuary:-
Situated in Sivasagar district, Pani-dihing was established as a Bird sanctuary in the year 1999.
